What is the difference between the same port and the different port ?

1.Different port

The positive electrode of the Load shares a line with the positive electrode of the charger, and the negative electrode of the load and the negative electrode of the charger are connected to the discharge port and the charging port of the pcb board respectively. In general, the discharge current of the battery is much larger than the charging current.

Pros: Cheaper. MOS with small charging current can be selected, and discharge and charging do not affect each other.

Cons: Requires three wires. You need an extra wire. Some situations don't apply.

2.Same port

The positive electrode of the load and the positive electrode of the charger share a line, and the negative electrode of the load and the negative electrode of the charger also share a line connected to the same port on the pcb.

Advantages: Can be used in a variety of situations, more convenient

Cons:Slightly more expensive

The MOS requirements for charge control and discharge control on the protection board should be the same. During discharge, the current passes through the charge controlled MOS, which increases the cost, internal resistance and heat.
